I’ve never really talked about this on my Blog. But I’m a Nail Technician. Now, I know what you are thinking, gum popping, shallow bubble head women. Or maybe perhaps the more racially motivated “discount” salon image.
I’m a different breed. I’ve been in the nail business since 1987 and I have to tell you there is a lot more to doing nails than meets the eye. I’ll share more about that later. I’ve progressed from being a nail tech, to an educator for the industry. I’m what you’d call an “independent” or “Non-Product Specific” educator meaning my classes are more about technique than pushing a product. That being said, I do sell products but I don’t push them. I’ve found that people want to buy what they see you using so why not have them available for sale. But I do work with a Variety of different products so I’m not stuck selling just one brand.
OK, so you’ve got a little background on WHAT I do for a living. I’m going to be posting a series of “How To” videos for my students to access. This will show you HOW I do WHAT I do. At least in part.
